Table views virtualize columns horizontally now — id and title stay frozen, off-screen columns unmount, and a 60-field database scrolls exactly as smoothly as a six-field one. Dragging to reorder still works across the whole width.

A dashboard now opens in view mode instead of permanent edit — toggle into edit only when you actually want to change it. Tiles and charts name what they measure instead of all reading "Count of records," and a widget can chart a different database than the one the dashboard lives in.

Databases collapse by default so a large workspace doesn't open into a wall of rows, indentation and drag finally agree with each other, and every row in the sidebar — space, database, view, dashboard, folder — gets one real management menu instead of a dead end.

Tyron gets a proper panel — four states from idle to done — and every write it makes is classified first: deleting a row asks for a count, dropping a field or database gets a stronger warning, and anything outward-facing waits at the same approval gate a human-triggered automation would.

The first screen you see now validates inline instead of throwing a browser error, and the pack picker shows every Business Pack in one scrolling grid with nothing pre-selected — pick a starting point, or start blank.

Import now coerces and validates each cell against the actual field type instead of trusting the file, matches existing records by key to update instead of duplicating them, and maps relation columns by their target database.

Open a record without leaving the view behind it — the panel slides in beside your board or table, stacks a new peek-rail when you open a related record from inside it, and each layer collapses independently. Drag the divider to resize.

A real dashboard view — metric tiles and grouped-table charts built from your own databases, not a bolt-on reporting tool. Add a tile, point it at a database, and it counts, sums or averages live.

A new rung on the access ladder: contributors can read and create but not delete, so client teams can be brought into a workspace safely. The role ladder is also now the billing boundary — only people who create count as seats.

Define a match rule (e.g. same email, same company name) and records link themselves across databases — the end of copy-paste relationship maintenance.

Download any view or a whole database as CSV — filters and sorts applied, streamed so large tables export in full. Round-trips with the CSV import wizard: what leaves StoryOS can come back.

Mention a teammate with @ (they're notified) or link a record with # — mentions become real backlinks, visible on the mentioned record, and they round-trip through Markdown so agents can write them over MCP.

Notifications get a full-page Inbox with filters, archiving and status-change alerts; My Work shows information-rich rows with field chips and collapsible per-database groups.

Automations and one-click buttons can now call your systems: signed webhooks fire on record events or on demand, with template-interpolated payloads and retries.

Personal access tokens carry a scope, and the MCP server only advertises the tools a token allows — a read-only token yields a read-only agent. Safer credentials for every connected assistant.

The website caught up with the product: finalized pricing with FAQ schema, per-template and per-agent pages generated from the real registry, a use-cases rebuild, comparison table sourced from public pricing pages, and a founder page — with every screenshot re-captured from a live workspace.

Linked records in a record view now render their own fields inline — pick which columns show per relation section, with filters, sorts and colors.

Boards can group by a relation or user field (not just selects), views auto-save their configuration, and feed/list views join color-by. Timeline and boards got sticky headers.

A warm-navy dark theme (system-following or manual), plus proper settings: account, preferences, notification controls and regional date/time formats.

claude.ai and ChatGPT can connect via OAuth sign-in — paste the endpoint, sign in, approve. No tokens to copy. The hosted endpoint at mcp.storyos.dev speaks the connector flow natively.

attach_file, list_attachments and delete_attachment join the MCP toolset — an agent can now file the report it just produced onto the record it belongs to.

Connect a workspace to Slack and let automations post messages — the morning digest and status alerts land where your team already talks.

docker compose up -d brings up Postgres, the API, the web app and a reverse proxy on one origin, with automatic migrations, restart policies, and an env matrix documented for production.
