Self-hosted StoryOS. When you run StoryOS on your own infrastructure, your workspace data — records, files, documents, and comments — stays on your servers. We do not receive it and cannot access it.
What the marketing site collects
This website (storyos.dev) uses privacy-respecting, cookieless analytics to count page views. We do not sell data or run third-party advertising trackers.
The managed Cloud
If you use the hosted Cloud (when available), we process the workspace data you create in order to provide the service, plus your account details for authentication and billing. We do not sell your data.
AI and agents
When you connect an AI agent via the MCP, the data the agent reads is sent to the model provider you configure. On self-host you choose that provider with your own key. Review your provider’s terms for how they handle it.
