The software. StoryOS is open-source software licensed under the GNU Affero General Public License v3.0 (AGPL-3.0). Your rights to use, modify, and distribute the software are governed by that license.

Self-hosting

When you self-host, you are responsible for your deployment, your data, and compliance with the laws that apply to you. The software is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind, to the extent permitted by law.

The managed Cloud

Using the hosted Cloud (when available) will be subject to a separate service agreement covering uptime, acceptable use, and billing. That agreement will be published before general availability.

Acceptable use

Don’t use StoryOS services to break the law, infringe others’ rights, or disrupt the service for other users.

Changes

These terms are a summary and will be replaced by a full agreement before general availability of the Cloud. For the authoritative license text, see the license page.
